Previously, you were able to play God of War at 60fps on the PS4 Pro, but you lost resolution quality, which dropped down to 1080p, or Full HD.īut now you can play in the faster frame rate with the improved resolution, giving an already gorgeous game a well-deserved next-gen makeover. Kratos' big, shiny head is going to look even better than before thanks to the 60 frames per second and a checkerboard 4K resolution (2160p) update, giving you silky-smooth motion on your gameplay as well as a jump in resolution. The update will be free to all PS5 gamers – if you're lucky enough to have the new-gen console – and will upgrade a number of aspects of the game.
